Another Adult Friendly Feis in October is the Western US Pre-Oireachtas Championships and Feis (East Bay Feis) in Oakland on October 15 & 16 at the Downtown Oakland Marriott and Convention Center. This feis have been in existence for 29 years and includes Adult Beginner, Novice and Prizewinner solos in the four light shoes and three hard shoe dances. In addition, this feis offers adult teams, including 2 hand, 3 hand, 4 hand Book, 6 hand book and 8 hand book competitions. There is also an adult only Hornpipe Trophy Special. Somehow, this Feis missed your list!

Yay to the adult-friendly feisana! I am an adult dancer and have been dancing for 12 years now. I did not Irish dance as a child and come back to it as an adult; I was a real "beginner". Plan on doing it as long as I can! I dance with a great group of adults of all ages, as well.
