By 'bigotry' Dennis...I take it you mean anyone who thinks differently than you do, on this (which sounds like bigotry, in itself). So, let me see if I have this straight, coming from a decent, kind, broad-minded and tolerant liberal such as yourself: those who oppose a mosque at Ground Zero (which includes not just the American majority but many 9/11 families and firefighters) are A) drunks, B) conceited, C) racist bigots and D) assaulters of cab drivers (never mind that the man who did the stabbing comes from a left-leaning PRO-mosque group). Gotcha, Dennis. (I think you may have jumped a wee bit too soon, hence the dead silence from you on this post, five days and running, now...)
This whole controversy is over. Nobody wants to be associated with bigotry, and that's basically all the anti-Muslims have going for them. The outcome might be different if you could get thugs to behave themselves, but you can't. Full of liquor and self-righteousness, they'll stab a cab driver for being a Muslim.

It's appalling, but it's predictable. In fact, I predicted it. Yesterday.
