Politicians and protestors condemn U.S. Muslims

It's the question of our age: can you claim to love America whilst stomping on every ideal that created it?

I have to warn you, this story is disturbing. At a recent fundraiser for for the homeless held by the Orange County chapter of the Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) several hundred Tea Party members and other protestors showed up to heckle the participants.

The public have every right to protest organizations and groups they don't like, but this protest quickly descended into scenes of jaw-dropping ugliness. The presence of small children did nothing to curb the chants being directed at their parents.

Some Republican politicians also showed up, including a member of Congress, to denounce, often in the most shocking terms, what was after all a peaceful and well-intentioned fundraiser held by their fellow United States citizens.

"We are one nation under God, not Allah," shouted one of the Orange County protestors . "Get out of here," she added, blissfully unaware the people she was shouting at were born and raised in the same California county as herself.

To this woman Muslims (all Muslims) are generally responsible for 9/11, and it wasn't a fundraiser in aid of worthy causes, it was jihadist training camp.

"You beat your women?" shouted one protestor. "You rape your children?" she continued, "why don't you go beat up your wife like you do every night?"

"They call it multiculturalism and it has paralyzed too many of our fellow citizens to make the critical judgments we need to make to prosper as a society," says Republican Congressman Ed Royce. No need for PC niceties, I suppose, when there's ~those~ people to fret over.

It's not hard to figure out where all the heat is coming from. Glen Beck challenged the first ever Muslim congressman in November to prove he was not working with our enemies.

Next week the House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Peter King is scheduled to convene a Congressional hearing to investigate, wait for it, what he bills the 'loyalty and radicalization' of American Muslims. I very much hope King will remember that loyalty and radicalization is now, thanks in part to bluntly reactionary efforts like his own, very much a two way street in the USA.

If anyone tells you the Tea Party's agenda is purely fiscal, show them this:

I see from reading these posts that the Left's first response toward anyone who vocalizes disagreement with them continues to be to label their opponents as racists and bigots. Notice, though, no refutation of the facts that this religion's so-called moderates raise not a whimper to protest a Pakistani 15 yo girl being flogged to death for protesting her rape by her cousin, or a mob of crazed "worshippers" murdering UN workers in alleged protest of a Koran burning 3000 miles away. Not a day goes by that one doesn't read of another Islamic terrorist plot, an "honor killing" of some poor teenage girl, or a plan to somehow enshrine Sharia Law as equivelent to our civil law in the USA. (In Sharia courts, the word of a non-Muslim is OFFICIALLY to be given less wgt than that of a Muslim - it is not a system of equal justice for all.) We are not going to fall for the Left's lies Cahir. We WILL deal with this "elephant" that wants to live in our living room.

Muslim account for 1% of the American Population, but are the most disruptive. American have to stop Muslim immigration. I refuse to let the lives of 3,000 American go in vain. The Muslims danced in the street on 9/11/01. I'll never forget that. Not one American has ever raised a hand to Muslims. Although, the Muslims Terrorist have been killing Americans. We never had to have a Homeland Security until the Muslim came to America. Americans never had to be strip searched, until Muslims came to America. Americans are being strip searched even though no American has ever planted a bomb on an airplane.

By the way, America was founded on the principle of religious freedom. I'm well aware of some other countries don't follow that precept - Norway, Saudi Arabia, etc. Two wrongs don't make a right. Muslims are under attack in America, and I can assure you that Jews and Roman Catholics will be next here. If we do not guarantee religious freedom to all, we can offer it to none, and there will be no reason for America to exist.

Hello from Madison, WI. To all our European brethren: Look at this closely. This is the American Tea Party movement. I want all of you to realize that this is a Fascist Movement, with potential to take over the US. A Fascist US, with all its military power, is not what the world wants nor needs. I have seen this at demonstrations all through Wisconsin, so it is not limited to California. Please be aware when you vote, and ask your politicians to stand up against this.

As an Irishman married to an American and who has worked extensively in the Middle East, Africa, continental Europe and England, I have seen attempts at multiculturism in Germany, France and England and frankly, it does not work. Ghettoisation is as close as you get. I've got Muslim friends and I understand a little about the faith. But, the law of the land should supercede the dictats of any fantasy. Here in Dublin we have two mosques and a large Islamic Cultural centre. No problem from the planning department. Try opening up a Catholic/Baptist/Anykindof Church in Saudi and other Muslim states (not to mention getting a government grant for same) and you would be shot down. Hopefully only metaphorically! In England where they bent over backwards to accomodate the sons and daughters of Mohammed (giving grants to build some of their places), there are parts where the English language and culture takes second or third place. Why don't the moderates in Islam speak out? Because they feel beholden to the rabble rousers who want to Islamacize the West. If only they (and other religions) adopted the social mores of their adopted homeland and integrated, these problems would not arise. But then that would interfere with the multiculturists in the Civil Service. Liberal trendies and pseudo intellectuals that push this agenda should wake up and look around. And if they want to live for a week in one of these 'multiculture eco-systems', I can point them to a few.

More women need to speak out on the issue of bringing completely covered up females into a culture formerly exemplified for it's freedom, and ability to have immigrants assimilate, for the greater good of our shared conviction "that all people are created equal" not just men.
