Remember that premature billboard that asked drivers if the missed George W Bush yet? Apparently the answer is no.

They didn't vote for it because they hadn't read it yet Oh'Dennis. Remember the democrats hid it from everyone's view and then dumped it on their desks (all 2500 pages of it) 24 hours before they had to vote on it...Why all of the secrecy anyway and why the rush, none of the benefits start for 3 years, yet we begin paying for it immediately...anyway just thought you should have your facks straight before you start yet another urban myth that you and a few others will take to heart as the gospel tryth...(You should let me fact check your stuff before you put it out on the net me boy)
Not a single Republican voted for health care reform; why is that? It's because they are acting in unison to defeat the Obama presidency. Republicans put partisanship ahead of the national good. It should matter to them that upwards of 45,000 uninsured Americans die each year of treatable illnesses; instead they pretend that government guarantees are a threat to liberty. It's a nonsense argument, and they don't believe it themselves. Nobody wants to see Americans die needlessly, not even Republicans.
Hey, Hollabackgirl, you can take a pig, and call it a swan, but it still can't swim and it stinks like sh*t. This "president" let corrupt lobbyists write legislation, the same lobbyists he claimed wouldn't be able to do so under his administration. His health care scam, is a farce, because it's going to cost lots more, and provide less health care, and make decisions on whether you get treatment or not, based on whether some unelected, unaccountable bureaucrat decides you are profitable enough to the government to merit such care. What's more, the government refused to supply the full bill to the Congressional Budget Office, so they could score the accurate cost of the legislation, because they knew it would be too expensive to merit passage. Do you understand what sustainable means hollabackgirl, or are you one of those stupid pigs who assume someone will subsidize your fat face in the trough? Unsustainable means it will fail, as we can't afford it you great lump of useless brain matter. And how is so unintelligent he hides his college transcripts, seeing us out of the depression? In what way can you claim that? Unemployment is skyrocketing, we have tent cities all across the US, or perhaps don't you care? Obama is a crook. In Chicago, he and his crony Valerie Jarrett stole money from a project to provide low income housing, Jarrett and Obama didn't put the money into the housing, they pocketed it. Obama and his wife colluded to help a hospital keep tax dollars intended to provide health care to the poor on the south side, while denying care. A poor child had his lip ripped off, and the hospital gave him a shot, and sent him home, instead of sewing it back on. A reporter uncovered this, and the fact that Mrs. Obama helped pull this off after getting a quarter million dollar raise once Obama got elected to the senate. Google the name Dontae Adams, and until you educate yourself, stfu.
These liberal, useless lefties don't have the faintest idea how power is generated. I just plug it into a wall and the power fairy turns it on.
The new Volt is supposed to cost $40,000. I wonder how much my electic bill is going to be when I have to charge it up. I hope I don't blow a fuse. It won't be a problem because I don't have 40 grand to spend on a car.
OK McBro: That's a good start, one city in the country is charging how many electric cars with "green energy". How much does the subsidized power actually cost?
Monsoonman: Those electric cars, being powered by green house... It's already happening: Google, Smart Grid City Colorado.
So tell me, have they found a way to make steel with windmills yet? How about solar powered chainsaws? Oh yeah what source of energy provides power to the electric outlets you plug your battery powered car into? Two guesses, but I'll tell you it won't be hydroelectric clean energy, as the dams are being destroyed so rivers can get back to their natural state. TIA
Maybe you haven't noticed but this President has crafted more signature bills than the last five combined. We've gone through the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression and he's getting us out of it. Obama passed the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. He signed into law the most sweeping changes to the credit card industry in 40 years. He announced the long-term development of a national energy grid with renewable sources and cleaner, efficient energy production. He put the ball in play for comprehensive immigration reform. He increased student loans. He improved benefits for veterans. He signed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, etc etc. Did I mention he passed health care reform?
So the prez. has time to sing and party with paul mccartney, golf regularly, go on nice vacays with his fambly, spend time to vist the ladies on the "view"...But just can't seem to find the time to visit the border in arizona and see what the citizens of the United States already know, we are being buried by illegal aliens, our border is porous, the government needs to act NOW. By act we don't mean to sue a state for trying to defend itself...Jefferson was right, a little revolution once in awhile, is good. This government is unresponsive to the critical needs of the country and is out of control.
I was a democrat 'til last year, I despised and still do, George W. Bush, but while I can't say that I miss him, I'd take him in the white house, over the even more corrupt, fraudulent Barack Obama any day of the week. Have to ask, why the focus on US politicians, when Ireland is run by a trough full of the swill of it's population? You all keep voting in examples of the atypical pig in the parlor types my Irish grandmother looked down upon, who foul their own nests, but think that the stench is covered up by a nice pair of lace curtains in the window.
The Bush/Cheney administration feels like five minutes ago because it actually was. The GOP are being premature if they think the nation is hankering for an instant replay.
Well, now we have a President who has time to gab with the ladies on the "View." That really impresses me. Maybe he can make a visit to "Dr. Phil."
Bush inherited Reagan-style conservatism - a bunch of academic ideas that should have been left in the academy - and implemented them without examining them for plausibility. Reagan was very fond of the Laffer curve - the notion that lowering taxes increases government revenue. Well, it doesn't - Bush left behind an enormous deficit. Bush also believed that aggressive militarism would enhance America's prestige in the world. Well, it didn't. Both Reagan and Bush presented themselves as ordinary guy-in-the-street types, but both refused to consider the practical effects of their policies. But Bush was especially stubborn in refusing to reverse himself in the face of evidence that his ideas weren't working. What a disaster he turned out to be!
