  Pittsburghkid, a lot of us have simply stopped watching TV. There is just so much junk on it. There are some shows worth watching, but they are few and far between. I don't watch either of the shows mentioned. I like to think for myself.

  I think viewing "The View" is a waste of one's time. I value what Bill O'Reilly has to say and will look forward to seeing him, again. But, "The View" will never warrant my attention. In my opinion; that show is an insult to intelligence.

  I do not think, that you completely understand Americans. ABC is a dying network. O'Reilly has a very popular Prime Time TV show on Fox. Fox has more viewers. It is not bizarre, that Hasselbeck defended O'Reilly. Hasselbeck is a Conservative. The View keeps Hasselbeck to keep the show from going in a leftward or concentric circle. Actually the View is a bunch of post menopausal women off the meds. O'Reilly is very intelligent, and popular. The witch except Hasselbeck are jealious.

  The comment was made that muslims were also killed in the towers like that makes a difference. muslims have been killing each other and anyone else they came in contact with since the beginning of time. muslims would kill all you muslim lovers given a chance. I have seen several imams say there is no such thing as moderate muslims. I will take them at their word, as should you.   Just so it is clear, I'm not an O'Reilly fan and I don't hate anyone but do not see any reason to trust the Muslims. They are free to live here and anywhere they wish but when they drive out Christians from Lebanon, kill christians in Sudan, stone women, cut off hands, behead people and, because a kook two bit preacher threatens to burn Korans, threaten all Americans with death, don't ask me to trust them. I'll tolerate them but since 343 of my fellow firefighters were killed by Muslim extremists, who seem to be tolerated if not encouraged by Islamic leaders, don't give me that politically correct bull.

  I wonder if they would have walked out if he complained that the Muslim Clerics that run Iran sentence women to death by stoning, that the Northern Sudan Muslims rape, kill and torture the Southern Sudan Christians or that Islamic Sharia law allows a Pakistan Muslim family to cut off a woman's nose and ears (Time Magazine story a few weeks back)? When the Moderate Muslims (if they do exist) shout come out with strong condemnation of these barbaric Muslim actions, maybe we'll believe most are peaceful, civilized people. I very little evidence of that. Even in this country a Muslim father "honor" killed two daughters for dating non-Islamic boys and his family continues to hide him from the authorities. It was Muslims flying the planes, not Cahtolics, Jews, Atheists or other religions, so saying Muslims killed us was not a lie. He should have added extremists or terrorists but that wasn't really necessary.

  This is what happens when people try to be right about something. They get all wrapped up in their own versions and overlook reality. They would rather pull out their psychological weapons against each other than to listen to each other. On the one side, 70% o f Americans polled did say they were against the location of the Mosque. On the other, the Muslim community, whose religion, I don't pretend to understand . All I know is I'm frightened by seeing women completely covered up, and by Sharia Law.

  Whoopi is a basic liberal, but has shown the capability of seeing both sides of an issue without it clouding her views. But Whoopi is black and she seems to be overly sensitive to any negative comments towards this religion that has a wide following of blacks in the US and the world. It's a true or false question so that even Cahir can have a 50% chance of not screwing up the answer. Do they represent Islam properly?   Well - not surprised on Joy Behar. But I am about Whoopi. I always saw Whoopi as the cool headed one who was very professional.
