New research has shown, perhaps surprisingly, that it is in fact men who spend more time chatting on the phone as compared to women.
Relationship psychologist Susan Quilliam says, “The classic joke is that it's the girls who are on the phone for hours. But actually now it's guys who are becoming bigger fans of the phone conversation - particularly if they want to be in touch with friends and family who've moved abroad.”
Shedding pounds can increase men’s passion levels in the bedroom, according to a new study by Irish researchers.
The study found that overweight men who went on a weight-loss program were able to reduce the prevalence of low testosterone by almost 50 percent.
While the study was conducted at St Vincent’s University Hospital, in Dublin, the findings were presented this week at The Endocrine Society’s 94th annual meeting, in Texas.
“The research shows we are then giving up too quickly — maybe because it seems there are more choices than there used to be.
Thankfully, gone are the days it seems of the great condom train of May 1971, when women brought condoms (which were banned in Ireland) down from Belfast on the train and blew them up in Connolly station!

“Carrying a condom can quite literally be lifesaving and should be as commonplace as picking up your keys or your wallet,” Abel added.
Now before you start giving out, I am not about to tar all men with the same brush here, but my latest dating experience in New York City has really shocked me.
So this gentleman, Rick from California, I thought was a dead cert. After a few dates, I was elated, as he ticked all the boxes: smart, ambitious, energy, looks.
I ignored the signs in the beginning, I told myself I was judging too quickly, but the latest episode was where I must draw the line.

1. You won’t put your hand in your pocket
Irish men can be very decent when it comes to paying for a lady. Of course there are exceptions (men with their communion money still under their mattress) but many of them love the feel of the dollar in their hand and will make sure your glass is always half full.
2. He will make you laugh
Irish men are funny. Some are even funny looking. But most of them will make you laugh at some of their cheeky remarks. Let’s face it; there is nothing better than a man who can make you laugh.
