Are you a big Solas fan? If so, would you like to help them create their next recording project that involves a CD, DVD and a multi-media stage presentation built around the exploration of founder Seamus Egan’s roots in Butte, Montana and the role of so many Irish immigrants who found their way there to work in the mines and frontier?

Navigating without a record company now, Solas has reached out to their fan base (like many other independent artists now) to gather pledges via Kickstarter to help produce and pay for their next venture called “Shamrock City” which will draw upon their Montana research over future months to incorporate into their act in 2012 and 2013. You can get involved here.
