Mary Byrne has finally arrived home to
Dublin but was forced to pull out of an appearance on RTE’s the “Late Late Show” chat last night.
Back home in
Ballyfermot, the Dublin woman was due to give her first Irish TV interview since leaving the competition, but instead her appearance has been pushed back until next week after the talent shows final.
"She remains under contract to 'X Factor', which meant she had to be in the
UK on Friday for final show rehearsals," said an RTE spokesman. "Mary will be joining other finalists on the last 'X Factor' this Sunday."
After her arrival, friends who visited Mary in her home, brought her flowers. On Thursday, she headed to Aylesbury Shopping Centre for some Christmas shopping.
This week it as announced that the former
Tesco worker intends to begin work on her new album of cover versions in the New year for
Simon Cowell's Syco label.
