RPattz said some would send books, art or other trinkets but some would send him “vials of their own blood”.
Gather.com reports, he said “People used to go absolutely insane. They couldn't hold themselves together at all."
He also commented on the straight up creepy things his fans would shout out in the street. Like “Rob! I just want to touch your hair!” He described his fans as “terrifying”.
However when the journalist asked him if he would prefer if it would “all just go away?” He said “No, actually. I'm clinging on to that for dear life," he laughs. "That's my career!”
