The producers behind "Twilight" are poised to sign Florence and the Machine for the new soundtrack.
Lead singer Florence Welch (above) says it's not confirmed, "yet" which is showbiz speak for any day now.
The band, who are playing a sold-out gig Friday night at Terminal 5 in New York City, hardly need the "Twilight" exposure but they could find a whole new fan base.
"Twilight" fans are about as rabid as you can get and there's bound to be crossover between the ethereal Robert Pattinson, the wan faced Kristen Stewart and the even more ethereal Florence.
In fact there's something we'd like to see.
Kristen and Florence duke it out for RPatz's heart!
