Susan Boyle moves into new digs

Boyle, 48, moved into her new home last week and spent considerable time meeting friendly neighbors.
On Sunday two friendly neighbors welcome SuBo into the area and promised to keep an eye out for her.
SuBo's brother was speaking out of sorts about his sister last week claiming that she couldn't afford to meet her mortgage payments in her new pad.
Gerry Boyle, 55, sang to the media that his famous sister only received an allowance of £500 a week and shops in Tesco (equivalent to Wall Mart) for her clothes and that she still takes the bus.
Boyle said that although she received more than $14 million in royalties from her debut album I Dreamed a Dream, his sister is living a basic life.
Boyle may dream big but for now she will have to do with a five-bedroom home. How bad!

@busterbrown, you seem to know a lot of depression and antidepressants.
You should probably start taking yours again. Maybe you wouldn't feel the need to seek out all the news that you can about someone you hate so much and who never did a thing to you. There is help available for people like you. Good luck to you.

Each time SuBo traveled the world she sang IDAD worse and worse. She couldnt even hold a tune on Larry King. So which talent are you referring to? Have you gotten a good look at her eyes? She has dark evil eyes and shes singing for the Pope? Makes perfect sense that someone like her would sing for someone who protects priests who molest young children.

Busterbrown, She doesn't need to be depressed because everything worked out for her. Before she wasn't able to use her talents and that must have been so frustrating. Like so many famous people she isn't sucked into the pitfalls of fame like drugs, spending too much, partying too much, etc. She is smart because she knows what is important. That is what people love about her believe it or not.

why do you think Susan Boyle has to be perfect? Are you Perfect? She has done pretty well for herself and she did it all herself. She went from being depressed to being rich and famous in less than a year. Be happy about such a wonderful success story.

Ah, Buster, you are trying to ride Susan's coat tails to fame like most of the "stars" and I think Susan is much more attractive than Gerry Especially as far as character goes.. As for worshiping Susan, I don't worship anyone or thing. I am an Atheist who just admires good character and a great voice.

It doesnt matter how many hits Susan Boyle gets on youtube - the fact is - she won second place and she won second place because she wasnt good enough to win first place. Buying up hundreds of her CD does NOT make SuBo a master performer. What does a lonely single middle aged woman want with a 5 bedroom house? She doesnt even have her cat Pebbles anymore. She got rid of her cat. That really disgusted me. With all those millions she could have hired someone to care for her cat in her home. Brad Pitt is building homes for people who lost theirs with his money and Taylor Swift is using her money to help people who lost everything to tornados in her home town. Those are the stories I like reading about what celeberities are doing with their money. Not this crappola that is not worthy of being called news.

I do not understand about Susan's Boyles brother saying that she was paid 14 million and can not affort her mortgage payments. First of all I Would imagine that with that kind of money she could have bought the house cash why would she have a mortgage please explain I am totally confused

@busterbrown, you are probably one of the funniest people on earth. By reading some of your posts on Susan related articles, you sounded like you really hate Susan, but you are watching her every single move. You even knew about her fans visit with Susan. As a loyal fan of Susan, I didn't even know about it until one of my co-workers emailed me the link. Why? I just don't understand. Do you actually love Susan or hate her? I am so confused. If you really hate her that much, why do you waste your time to go through all her update news? Did she kill your parents?

If Susans fans can visit with Susan anytime they want - why not the neighbours too? Do Susans fans think they are that special? They think they are famous because they get to have cake and tea with Susan LOL. A woman by the nickname Moria thinks shes a famous Scot already LOL.

trennie, at first they were saying that she was living on 300 pounds a week so I guess she got a raise! She's sure buying a lot on that amount of money. Anyone who still believes anything that her brother says is as stupid as he is, as if she'd keep paying an accountant who wouldn't let her have her own money.

Susan probably bought the house outright. So no mortgage payments. Her grand piano has just been delivered, as well as multiple plasma TVs, furniture from Edinburgh's most expensive store, state of the art security, and extensive landscaping, not visible in this picture. She's also refurbished her childhood home, which she's also bought.
Susan is spending modestly but extensively on the most important things. For fun shopping, she goes to Tesco. Gerry apparently knows nothing. Probably because Susan no longer talks to him. No wonder, since everything she's told him goes direct to the tabs with his own inimitable spin on it.

I think it's great she finally got her dream and whatever she does with her money - that is her business and good luck to her. At this age and stage - you do as you please and don't worry what people think, including your brother. A bit of jealousy there, not that uncommon.
