Susan Boyle has rejoiced that she finally feels safe again in her new home.
The worldwide superstar was left “scared to death” when she caught a teenage Scott Miller red-handed in her council home last year.
Last month Boyle moved into a £300,000 five-bedroom detached home in her hometown of Blackburn, West Lothian in Scotland.
The 1,700 square foot home includes a top-of-the range kitchen, three bathrooms, a double garage and solar panels.
Speaking about her big move Boyle said, "I had a house warming party in January -- new year, new house. I had a lovely gathering with close friends and family.
"I am getting used to living there now and feel very safe and comfortable. It is close to my old family home so I am still a part of the community I love and grew up in."
The 17-year-old thief is due to be sentenced in June.
