Siobhan Magnus stays in for the next round of American Idol

Siobhan Magnus looked visibly relieved as Ryan Seacrest announced that she was "safe" in Wednesday night's edition of "
American Idol."
The usual warm-up blather saw some banter between Ryan and Ellen about Siobhan and whether or not she could replicate
Adam Lambert's success.
"She already stands out," says Ellen while fellow judge
Simon Cowell looked totally confused.
"He's just whispered to me about this Snooki thing," laughed Ellen referring to Ryan's comment about Snookie from '
Jersey Shore'."
Confused Simon? We all are!
What's a nice Irish American girl like Siobhan got in common with Snooki from "Jersey Shore?"!

I think Siobhan has a genuine chance to take it all the way, I just hope she doesn't have too many Adam Lambert moments where she makes it too theatrical. Timing those surprise moments of strong vocals is so important. http://www.baduku.com/americanidol9
