One Direction will release new album by Christmas

The One Direction lads have been keeping busy lately no doubt! With their ever growing worldwide fame, the band is in the works to release a new album around the Christmas season this winter.

STV reports that the group, formed during the 2010 season the UK X Factor, will look to stay on top of the charts via a new album, despite their debut album ‘Up All Night’ being released only seven months ago.

One Direction, including Mullingar native Niall Horan, have been basking in the successes of a sold out summer tour, legions of deeply loyal fans, and a record-breaking debut on the US Billboard Charts at number one.

An insider told the Daily Star Sunday: "The plan is to have a new single out around November, with the album to follow a week or two later.”
