The 'What Makes You Beautiful' hitmakers - consisting of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson - will battle against Harry's former girlfriend for Favourite Song at this year's awards, while the band are also up for Favourite Musical Group.
Harry, 19, told People magazine: "We are delighted with our nominations for the Kids' Choice Awards. It was amazing to perform 'What Makes You Beautiful' at last year's show. Thank you as always to our incredible fans and supporters!"
Other nominees in the Favourite Song category include Carly Rae Jepsen's 'Call Me Maybe', and the viral sensation, 'Gangnam Style' by Korean star PSY.
One Direction will also face competition from Big Time Rush, Bon Jovi and Maroon 5 to earn the title of Favourite Musical Group.
Elsewhere, 'Wizards of Waverly Place' actress Selena Gomez is nominated for Favourite TV Actress and 'America's Got Talent', 'American Idol', 'The Voice' and 'Wipeout' will vie for Favourite Reality Show.
The full nominations for this year's Kids' Choice Awards will be announced later today, with voting due to begin on Thursday.
The ceremony takes place on March 23 at the University of Southern California's Galen Center, and will be hosted by 'Transformers' actor Josh Duhamel.
