| Niall Horan takes a photo-op with big fan Niamh Power |
The Mirror reports that this week, the lads took a break from rehearsals for the US tour to spend a morning with young cancer patient Niamh Power in London. The One Direction boys posed for pictures with young Niamh in her hotel room, and Niamh even snatched a kiss on the cheek from bandmate Harry Styles.
Niall Horan, the Mullingar native and only Irish member of One Direction, shared the visit on Twitter with his nearly 3.5 million followers.
"Met this amazing girl this morning, Niamh! Great morning, brave girl,” he tweeted accompanied by a picture of him and Niamh.
Niamh’s mother Marie said of her daughter, "She says she's never going to wash that cheek again.
"Niamh's smile was big enough to fill the room. Everyone in the band spent time talking to her. And the photo Niall put on Twitter has now gone round the world."
The heart-warming meeting was arranged via the Rays of Sunshine charity, which is quite similar to the American Make-A-Wish foundation.
