On a recent vacation to the Caribbean, Michael Flatley was spotted letting it all hang out.

The Riverdance star looked out of shape, next to his toned, tanned wife, Niamh O’Brien.

Sporting a pair of Quiksilver board shorts the 52-year old seemed relaxed as he strolled along the beach in Barbados.

After announcing his retirement in 2001, the Chicago born star still continued to dance before falling ill with a viral infection in November 2006.

Following two years of intense recovery which included a strict diet, gym sessions and playing golf, Flatley made an impressive comeback last year with his latest show “Feet of Flames”.

Amy Andrews might want to check her facts. The woman in this picture with Michael Flatley may be tanned, but she is definitely NOT Niamh O'Brien. I met both of them on his recent tour. Niamh is a stunning woman, Michael was in fantastic shape, and his performance was superb. Inaccurate reporting aside, it is a shame that people cannot even enjoy a small amount of privacy while on holiday. I wonder how the rest of us would fair in photographs taken unexpectedly?
