Lindsay Lohan is expected to be released from the Betty Ford rehab center in Palm Springs on Monday.
The 24-year-old actress is now facing legal battles over an alleged misdemeanor battery on a Betty Ford worker. She also has to prove to a judge that she has been in compliance with the terms of her probation during her stay at the center.
On New Year's Day she tweeted "Today is the first day of the rest of my life," it said. '"The future depends on what we do in the present.' -Mahatma Gandhi... One step at a time..."
Her father, Michael Lohan, feels confident that she will succeed.
During an interview with CBS' "The Early Show" he said "She has taken the right steps and put the right people back in her life that she had at the best part of her life, to really use it as a springboard."
