"The Last Word" host Larry O'Donnell condemned Bill O'Reilly on his Monday show calling him a "joke" he even said "The O'Reilly Factor's" host a serial liar.
He said "dozens of guys I grew up with who were just like him. Overbearing, argumentative, Irish guys who think they know everything and can back up nothing. Those guys have always been a joke to me, which is why O'Reilly almost never has the capacity to outrage me, because he is just a joke to me most of the time."
O'Donnell told his audience to not be fooled by O'Reilly's "faux-Irish tough guy style."
His comments were prompted by O'Reilly saying that there were "strains of anti-Americanism" on MSNBC. O'Donnell used this comment as an example of O'Reilly's lies.
O'Donnell said "He has by now figured out exactly what his audicnce wants to hear, and that's what he delivers," he said. "And when that requires lying, O'Reilly can do it without blinking because he's discovered that there's a lot of money to be made in those lies."
He said he sees O'Reilly as "a very, very, very rich man who has grown phenomenally rich by playing a character on TV that the most gullible audience in the history of television falls for."

O'Reilly would make a good President if he weren't so liberal. odonnell should interview odumba, they could suck arse themselves to death.

When you get down to it, O'Reilly is a dangerous man because he spreads lies like a bully, and displayed profound arrogance in the face of an inability to grasp the meaning of the issue at hand.

I love it! Seriously, too! O'Donnell hit the nail on the head when he said he grew up with many Irish American guys who are like O'Reilly. I agree with O'Donnell. What gets me most about O'Reilly is the way that man will actually get up the nerve to act all scandalized and outraged at the something or other when it is really HIMSELF that is so scandalous. I was disgusted when I saw how he interviewed President Obama, without manners, and then said something or other at the end like, "Oh, I hope you don't mind if I am tough on you" or some other b.s. like that, not meaning a word of it, of course. He is crude and shameless. What's the word? Boorish.

WOULD LOVE TO SEE THESE TWO MEET IN A "FAIR AND BALANCED" SETTING. O'DONNELL SPEAKS "HATE" O'REILLY THE "FACTS". EVEN THO O'REILLY SPEAKS OVER PEOPLE AND TICKS ME OFF A LOT AND I DON'T ALWAYS AGREE WITH HIM HE'S HONEST. I WATCH BOTH OF THESE MEN EQUALLY AND KNOW THAT O'R WOULD CLEAN O'D'S CLOCK AND SEND HIM OFF WITH HIS TAIL BETWEEN HIS LEGS.

Maloney, arrange a one-on-one with O'Donnell and O'Reilly and I guarantee you wouldn't relish what you saw. O'Donnell would eat O'Reilly's breakfast (full Irish), lunch and dinner. As for thought that the "liberal side of the posters don't like O'Reilly is because he doesn't kiss the arse of the gay agenda supporters", guess again. I don't give ONE thought to any gay agenda. I don't like O'Reilly because he wouldn't know the truth if it bit him on the arse. He is a disgrace to the Irish. I don't care how many people watch him and how much money he gets paid. There are a lot of people who are entertained by his bluster and mistreatment of guest that don't go along with the rule: agree with Bill or you won't get a word in edgewise and you will be shouted down. Go ahead and believe he is a-okay, but he is a minor intellect and he has bamboozled people with the bluster for all these years. Next question.

My guess is that people like McNabb 1966 haven't watched a lot of Lawrence O'Donnell. To compare O'Donnell to O'Reilly is ludicrous. O'Donnell is an intellectual and O'Reilly is a simpleton. As to the comment that O'Reilly has many more viewers than O'Donnell that owes to many factors, but let's just focus on stupidity. Many Americans stick with the conservative side even though the conservative Republican take is the enemy of the little guy. BTW, O'Donnell owes no apology to O'Reilly or anyone. Believe me, O'Reilly wants no part of any kind of conversation with Lawrence O'Donnell. Before he entertains that crazy idea I think he ought to rewatch what O'Donnell did to another phoney Irishman, John O'Neill, of the "Swiftboat Veterans for Truth." That was not pretty. Finally, O'Reilly is a disgrace to his Irish heritage. He can't hold a candle to so many good Irish minds, here and in Ireland. I don't care how much money he makes. Limbaugh makes over $30 million a year and the next time he tells the truth will be the first time. Next question.

odonnell, the admitted socialist, really doesn't like Bill O. Bill O has more viewers on his 1 hr. show than MSNBC has in 24 hrs. Bill O makes more money in a month than odonnell makes in a year. Odonnell & Ed the talking horses arse both hate Bill O with a passion & it's killing both of them.

O'Reilly is not a tough guy ! He travels with bodyguards. His foul mouthed tirade a few years ago when his ego was bruised was indicator enough of the make up of this mans character..He is a mouth, a face, and a suit for rent! Has he done well? Quite well while serving his masters...
