SEE PHOTOS - Click here Kathy Griffin, the Irish-American television personality and comedienne, hosted the "VH1 Divas: Salute the Troops" concert over the weekend, opening the show wearing only a camouflage bikini.
The star studded event featured performers including Keri Hilson, Katy Perry and Jennifer Nettles.
During the event Griffin paid tribute to American soldiers serving around the world. But the unconventional comedian got booed when she tried to make a joke out of Bristol Palin gaining weight during her recent stint on Dancing with the stars. The joke bombed when the military men and women in the audience booed the 50-year-old for poking fun at Sarah Palin' daughter.
Jersey Shore's Snooki and Mike “The Situation” Sorrento even made a surprise guest appearance.
A spokesman for the event said, "The holidays are especially tough for our men and women in uniform and their families, and having the opportunity to touch so many troops stationed around the world at a time of year that matters most lets them know that America still cares about their welfare".

Kathy Griffin looks very nice in a bikini. Not my favourite celebrity, but she can dress like that any time. As for Sarah Palin, the best anyone I know will say about her, is that they would vote for anyone on a GOP ticket, and that from the most right wing person I know. I don't know anyone who actually likes her. Perhaps she should wear a bikini too?

Most normal Americans like the Palin family, they don't appreciate the kook fringe 15% infected with Palin derangement syndrome. The same ones who made death threats to Bristol Palin and sent envelopes filled with white powder to the studios of Dancing with the stars. I am sure it came as a shock to kathy that her mean spirited bomb, bombed, she wasn't in her usual liberal vacuum.
