Johnny Knoxville and the Jackass crew were in Dublin for the premiere of the “Jackass” 3D movie last weekend.

"I didn't even know it was Halloween. I just dress like this normally," said the 'Jackass' front man as he walked the red carpet in a purple velvet pirate's costume.

Knoxville added "It's great to be in Ireland, people recognize us in the streets -- so that feels good."

Jason Acuna who plays Wee Man was dressed in a leprechaun's outfit complete with a pipe.

Producer Spike Jonze and director Jeff Tremaine along with the “Jackass” cast spent the day in Temple Bar on Sunday, filming and enjoying several pints of Guinness.

However Knoxville was left soaked when he fell victim to a locals prank after a man doused him in beer in Dublin's Temple Bar.

The man approached Knoxville and threw his drink all over the star. Security guards from a nearby pub stepped in and apprehended the man but Knoxville saw the funny side and laughed the joke off.

This article is pathetic. Typical headline grabbing journalism. Knoxville splashed his own beer in his face messing around with his own film extras/cast. I saw the footage and listened to him explain it during an interview. We know why a headline grabbing journalist would twist the truth, but the brainless haters that made venormous comments afterwards are pathetic idiots. and I'm not a Knoxville fan, I just hate liars and people that chose to dislike people for no other reason than to deflect attention from there own miserable existance.
Throwing a beer at someone is a prank?
Maybe he should have been doused with a flammable liquid then threaten with a match. Maybe that would keep him and his crew out of Temple Bar, Dublin and the rest of Ireland.
I'd dowse the ijit myself given the opportunity.
