Fox News canceled an interview with Joan Rivers after she called her "stupid and a threat". She blames Sarah Palin for the Tucson shooting, when six people were shot dead.
Rivers made these comments in a TMZ interview when asked whether Sarah Palin should be president of the United States.
She said "I think Sarah Palin is an amazing woman. I think she represents everything strong a woman can be, and I think she should go someplace – to another planet – to show them, and get out of our face."
She went on to say that Palin should be blamed for the attack in Arizona.
"They're right to blame Sarah for the shootings. Go look at her website. This woman is encouraging sandbaggers to reload ... this woman is just stupid and a threat," she said.
Speaking to CNN she said that just after the interview her agent received a call canceling her scheduled appearance on Fox and Friends.
She explained "We got called...So now we call it Fox and Former Friends. They said to our PR lady it was because of what we said about Miss Palin."
Rivers then tweeted "Outcome: DON'T PISS OFF SARAH PALIN. She's apparently 'very powerful', and is obviously still smarting from the end of her reality show."
Fox has claimed that her appearance was canceled due to the "volume of news topics". The news topics included National Penguin Awareness Day, and an assessment of the Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler's performance as a judge on American Idol. Fox said that she should have been rescheduled but was mistakenly canceled.

At least Sara Palin is doing something for her country and not trying to get naked pictures of her daughter in the shower. I think Joan is suffering from Early Onset Elderly Dementia!

I say Good for Fox!!!!!! As for Ms. Rivers, I suggest the next time you go in for a face lift, you ask what they can do for your poisonous bitter tongue. She needs help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Considering general opinion about JR (I only know her vaguely - not in US), maybe the Fox-Palin cartel have missed a trick here. It sounds like JR rounding on Palin on the Fox set might actually have been good advertising for SP!

Joan Rivers is not funny, very hard to look at and her many face lifts have tightened the skin around skull to such a degree that it has affected her mental capacity. I would never watch her no matter what show she is on. Right on Fox!!

Joan Rivers? WHO? Oh! You're Joan Rivers. "You used to be in silent pictures. You used to be big." Wow, you even still have opinions....that's so cute.
BTW, when she says, "get out of our face", is "Ms Desmond" referring to her origional silent film face or one of the various faces after her obvious multiple facelifts? WHICH "face" does one get out of?

The fixation so many have re: Fox news and Sara Palin borders on the pathological. It would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. And Joan Rivers, as scary looking as she is ignorant. How these air headed fools get on tv is truly amazing, hence the term idiot box.

She has an opinion. Her whole career has been about saying outrageous things. Firing her for saying something, wether I agree with her or not, is wrong. Freedom of speech has gone away??????????

Fox, Unlike all of the "right wing wacko organizations" in history seeks to purge and destroy any dissenting or opposite views. How can anyone be surprised that Fox only believes in one view theirs

Joan Rivers is soooo over & she needs to get over herself. Other websites besides Sarah Palin's have crosshairs & bullsyes on them. Hear any comments about those? Not that I've seen. So, shut up, Joan, & maybe it's time for another facelift, huh?

The FOX Propaganda Network is completely disrespectful of everyone who doesn't serve the corporate agenda including the President which according to their own "standards" just several years ago no citizen should ever do lest they be a traitor. Getting cancelled by that worthless network for fools and idiots is a badge of honor.
