Comic actors Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy have parted ways following a five-year relationship. The bad news was announced via Twitter.
Carrey’s Twitter announcement Twit read “Jenny and I have just ended our 5yr relationship. I'm grateful 4 the many blessings we've shared and I wish her the very best!”
The news comes as a shock as the duo appeared to have durable bond. In fact as recently as Valentine’s Day, Carrey has a plane sky-write “J hearts J” above their LA home.
He followed up on Twitter with “Jenny my Love, you've stolen my heart, my soul and of course anything you find in my pants.”
Though a surprising break it seems to be amicable. McCarthy announcement Twit confirmed this. It read “I’m so grateful for the years Jim and I had together. I will stay committed to Jane and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart.”
