“Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were nominated for only one MTV Movie Award this year, to the dismay of many fans.
The on screen lovers received a nomination for Best Kiss and will be going up against Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson from the The Hunger Games. The couple have won the award twice for their characters’ passionate embrace in the vampire saga.
Last year the third installment of the Twilight saga “Eclipse” scooped five popcorn themed awards at the ceremony.
In total this year “Breaking Dawn:, Part 1” received just two nominations, while the ‘Hunger Games’ cleared the board with a massive eight nominations, including individual awards for Josh Hutcherson, Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Elizabeth Banks.
MTV just released the full list of nominees for the June 3 awards show.
