The troubled actor – who has been linked to a number of women in recent weeks following a series of parties – has been “talking” with Brooke, the father of his 20-month old twin sons Bob and Max, about the possibility of getting back together.
Brooke’s mother Moira Fiore said: “They’re talking about it constantly, and Brooke has been saying she and Charlie are trying to get back together.
“She seems ready to give it another try.”
According to Moira, the ‘Two and a Half Men’ star has been telling Brooke – who he married in May 2008 – things have “not gone well” for him recently following reports of drug binges and nights spent with porn actresses.
She told The Palm Beach Post newspaper: “Charlie’s been telling her that things have not gone well for him. I think he’s making her feel guilty and he wants to be with Brooke.”
Charlie and Brooke’s relationship turned sour on Christmas Day in 2009, when he was arrested on charges of domestic violence, second-degree assault and menacing.
He later checked himself into a rehabilitation facility but has since been in trouble with the law again when he was removed from a hotel room where he admitted he had been drinking and taking cocaine with an escort.
A few weeks later, he filed for divorce from Brooke, and has since been seen out on a number of occasions partying in Las Vegas.
