According to the Examiner, the X-Factor's Demi Lovato has admitted she is 'casually dating' One Direction singer Niall Horan.

The two pop stars have have been flirting with each other in person and via social media for the past several months, but some close work pals of Lovato's have finally spilled the beans that she and Horan have been dating a little.

'Demi’s told the guys backstage she and Niall are loosely dating — it’s casual but they are definitely dating, albeit long-distance,' a source said.

Lovato, who could battle Kristen Stewart for the most expressionless face, was recently reported to have said that Niall 'has a lot of great qualities.'

'He is an amazing listener and makes me laugh a lot, two of the main qualities I look for. We share the philosophy that the right one is worth waiting for.'
