Michael Fassbender's shockingly raw performance in director Steve McQueen's 'Shame' proved much too adult for the easily startled judges of the Academy Awards this year, but there's no question he's become the most sought after leading man in the world.
The Academy's decision to overlook his work was a widely lamented travesty, but an expected one, considering their track record on mature themes and nominations.
Male nudity has always been a bridge too far for the sensitive types who compile the nominations but thankfully Fassbender's not concerned. In fact he recently had a laugh at all the fuss his latest film caused in some quarters.

'From the start of my career, I’ve been naked. My first job was a commercial for SAS airlines. In the spot, I wake up in a pink room next to a beautiful blonde girl and get out of bed naked. From that point forward, it’s been in all of my contracts: He must be naked in this film,' Fassbender joked.
Now, thanks to a bit of digging by the folks over at Gay.net, that original ad has been found. Don't click on the link if male nudity offends you. In fact, you should probably never visit a gym, join the army, play major sports or marry. For the rest of you, enjoy:
