Cork exile Setanta O hAilpin has been handed a four game ban by the Australia Football League after an incredible attack on a Carlton teammate during a training sessions with the Aussie Rules side last week. O hAilpin clashed with Cameron Cloke in a scuffle on the training ground, with video footage of their row freely available on the Internet. Carlton officials were reported to have considered sacking the Corkman, but actually appealed the AFL decision in order to have the player available for the start of the new season. The AFL disciplinary body found O hAilpin guilty of intentionally striking and kicking Cloke and initially hit him with a five game ban.
