Unbeaten colt Sea the Stars will go to stud at the The Aga Khan's Gilltown farm in County Kildare.

The three-year-old was retired a few weeks back after taking his place among the greatest colts to have ever raced.

The John Oxx-trained horse galloped into the history books by becoming the first horse to win Europe's top three races, after winning the 2,000 Guineas and the Epsom Derby.

Sea the Stars, owned by Christopher Tsui, won a total of six Grade One races to solidify his reputation as one of the best. Oxx is delighted with the latest development

"His Highness was kind enough to let us stand Sea The Stars at Gilltown while keeping ownership of him and we are most grateful. The staff and facilities at Gilltown are top class and Sea The Stars will enjoy his stay there," said the trainer.

The Aga Khan also expressed his delight at the arrangement:

'Mrs Tsui and Christopher's  [owners} decision to entrust the future career at stud of Sea The Stars to Gilltown Stud farm brings to everyone at the Aga Khan Studs, as well as to me personally, the greatest happiness,' said his Highness.
