Rory McIroy enters the 2011 arrives at Augusta this week on his quest to win his first masters.

He is favored by nine times major champion Gary Player who told Yahoo Sports that he feels McIroy is set to win.

"He is ready to come through. I just love the way he plays golf. However we don't know how he will rise to the occasion if he comes down the line (on Sunday) and he's leading.”

The Irishman has even the has solicited the support and advice of the golden bear himself Jack Nicklaus. After meeting with Nicklaus on a couple of occasions he walked away with two golf lessons.

The first to not make any mistakes. That was the key to Nicklaus’ masters wins. Also, not to get caught up in people’s talk of his inconsistent short game.

With a win this week McIroy will win his first masters at 21 a year before Nicklaus notched his first at 22.
Currently McIlroy is currently -3 through 5 holes and is in third place on the leaderboard..
