Patriots quarterback Tom Brady made a move to explain his preemptive invite to a victory party this Sunday, which annoyed  many Giants fans.

Brady said to 25,000 fans at Gillette Stadium on Monday night: “We’re going down there, and we’re going down there for one reason. We’re going to give it our best and hopefully we’ll have a lot more people at our party next weekend.”

Explaining his comments he told the national media “it was a pep rally” when the team landed in Indianapolis ahead of the NFL final.
