Notre Dame gave their fans another weekend coronary by leaving it late before a fourth quarter grandstand finish saw them prevail 24-21 against Purdue.

The Irish had been sweating on Jimmy Clausen all week after the quarterback suffered a turf toe injury Tuesday, but though he shared qb responsibilities with Dayne Crist, he came back into the game in the final quarter to lead a do or die drive when the game was on the line.

The Irish were 21-17 down with just over three minutes on the clock when Clausen led his team on a winning drive, connecting with Kyle Rudolph on a fourth down from two yards to win the game.

Another weekend, and another last gasp live or die win for the Irish, you can't say they don't keep their fans on their feet!
