After having a shortened junior season, due to injury, it now seems likely that Kyle Rudolph will make himself available for the 2011 NFL draft. This was his last season with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Rudolph’s season with Notre Dame was shutdown in October, which meant he missed the final seven games, due to a torn hamstring. Unfortunately this is the second year in a row that Rudolph has suffered a season ending injuring and this could be a concern for the NFL down the line.

Irish Illustrated has confirmed with its sources that Rudolph will leave South Bend and has already selected an agent. The name of his rep is still unknown.

This season he managed to finish third on the Irish in catches and receiving years even though he was absent for half the season. He now finishes up him Notre Dame career with 90 catches for 1,032 years and eight touchdowns.
