Younger brother of Irish starting left Zack Martin, Nick Martin, has flipped from Kennedy to Notre Dame’s Fighting Irish.

This is the third commitment Notre Dame have gotten along with Conor Hanratty and Matt Hegarty.

Nick Martin has long been committed to Kentucky but recently decided to join him brother at tackle.

Martin’s high school coach Vince Lorenzano told CatsPause.com “His brother is there, and having to split the family up was going to be somewhat difficult…It was decided that he was going to go ahead and make that switch.”

The addition of Martin fills another seat on the bus pushing the Irish roster to capacity. This helps to make up for last year’s thin recruiting class of just Christmas Lombard and Tate Nichols.

Martin received offers from Michigan, Stanford, Tennessee, UCLA and Iowa.
