Notre Dame Fighting Irish already beat Alabama Crimson Tide, Gangnam Style - VIDEO

Alabama and Notre Dame face off, Gangnam Style

While there’s still a few days to go before the big showdown, Notre Dame University’s Fighting Irish have already claimed a small victory over Alabama’s Crimson Tide, with a little help from South Korean pop phenom Psy.

On Wednesday night, both the Fighting Irish and Crimson Tide football teams attended the Miami Heat vs Dallas Mavericks NBA basketball game in Miami.

During the basketball game, Alabama wide receiver Christion Jones and Notre Dame nose guard Louis Nix III participated in a karaoke showdown to YouTube’s most-viewed video for Psy’s ‘Gangnam Style,’ which is rapped mostly in Korean.

According to reports from those at the game, Nix “trounced” Jones in the karaoke showdown.

The Fighting Irish are due to face off with the Crimson Tide on January 7th in Miami for the BCS Championship game.

Check out the video of Nix singing, or attempting to sing, ‘Gangnam Style’ here:
