Teenage sensation Rory Mcllroy has a little work to do Friday if he is to make the cut for the weekend's play at the Masters.

Heading out with Anthony Kim and Ryo Ishikaw, Mcllory reeled off six straight pars before picking up a birdie on seven.  Unfortunately for Mcllroy, he gave the shot back with a bogey on the 8th, and a par on the 9th hole meant the 19-year-old made the turn at even par.

Mcllroy started the back nine with a bogey at the long par four 10th, but failed to pick up a birdie at the par 5 13th after a wayward second shot.

The teenager did birdie the par 3 16th to get back to even, and finished the last two holes in regulation to go around at level par 72.

With leader Chad Campbell in the clubhouse at seven-under-par, Mcllroy will have to pick up a few shots on Friday to ensure he spends the weekend at Augusta, especially if the favorable weather conditions continue.

Tourament favorite Tiger Woods shot a two-under-par 70, while Phil Mickelson carded a one-over-par 73.  Defending green jacket holder Trevor Immelman is one-under after a 71.
