Manchester United legend Roy Keane preparing to throw the book at Alex Ferguson in 2014

Roy Keane plans to write a tell-all book in 2014.

Roy Keane is ready to reignite his explosive war of words with his former Manchester United boss Alex Ferguson in 2014.

The Irish Sun newspaper reports that Keane has been offered a megabucks deal by a UK publisher to pen a book on his relationship with Fergie.

The former Ireland captain was incensed by the contents of Ferguson’s autobiography which topped the Christmas best sellers list in the UK.

Now the new Ireland assistant manager is ready to sign the lucrative deal with a major published according to the report.

The Irish Sun reports that Keane is ready to respond to Ferguson’s criticisms in his own book after being approached by the publisher.

Keane is also expected to blow the lid on his controversial exit from Manchester United in 2005.

Ferguson said in his book: “The hardest part of Roy’s body is his tongue.”

But Keane responded recently when he said: “Alex Ferguson thanked me for my 11½ years at the club and I had to remind him I’d been at United for 12½ years. I think this was all part of the game.

“Two words the manager spoke to me about were ‘control’ and ‘power’ and that was how he worked.”
