Manchester City lifted the first Dublin Super Cup title thanks to a 3-0 win over Inter Milan at the Aviva Stadium.

Roberto Mancini’s side were the only team to finish the new tournament with a 100 per cent record thanks to wins over Celtic and the Airtricity League representative side.

Inter old boy Mario Balotelli, Edin Dzeko and Adam Johnson were on target for City who left new signing Sergio Aguero on the bench.

Celtic, beaten by Inter on Saturday, made amends with a comfortable 5-0 victory over the Airtricity League team on Sunday.

Irish striker Anthony Stokes and Gary Hooper scored twice with Daryl Murphy on target from the penalty spot.
