Rob Kearney will start for Leinster in Saturday’s Magners League clash with Newport Gwent Dragons at Rodney Parade.

The Ireland international has now fully recovered from his recent bout of the mumps and has been selected on the left wing for the trip to Wales.

With the Heineken Cup final looming, Leinster boss Michael Cheika has decided to rest some key men, thus resulting in call-ups for a number of youngsters.

Indeed, Academy graduates Kyle Tonetti and Ian McKinley will both make their debuts for the province this weekend. Tonetti will partner Fergus McFadden in midfield, while McKinley will line up alongside Chris Keane in the half-backs.

There are also four uncapped palyers on the bench: Jamie Hagan, Paul Ryan, Ian Madigan and David Kearney.

Despite the changes, there is still plenty of experience in the side, with Girvan Dempsey lining out at full-back and Stephen Keogh captaining the side from the back row.
