Donegal native, Michael McLaughline from Glengad in Inishown, is pegged as the next hot contender on the Irish boxing circuit. At the ripe old age of 28, Michael is recently turned pro, but has big ambitions to work his way up the title ladder.
Promoted by Danny Kelly, Michael recently arrived in Boston on a P1 athletes visa. Unfortunately delays in visa processingave little time for preparation of his first fight in Boston, resulting in the need to drop one stone in the course of a day. The result was disastrous leading to Michael's only professional defeat.
Mark your calendar and book your ticket - Michael is fighting Robert Brando-Hunt at the Rhode Island Convention Center on November 10th. Tickets are available at the Center Bar in Dorchsester and plans are underway to charter a bus to the fight. For more information call 857-615-3191
