Just days after the Celtic football club announced its new manager on June 9, new boss Neil Lennon has been laying out his battle plan for the season, suggesting that his players should be ready to 'go to war' every time they lace up their boots.

Lennon, who was already famous for his tenacity as a player, wants to instil the same qualities into his Celtic players. 'Winning football games is the hardest thing in football to do,' he said. "I have got to prepare them as best we can and we've got to win as many games as possible to put in a really strong challenge to Rangers and wrest that title away from them.'

Celtic fans have been excited by Lennon's appointment, especially after the new manager discussed the possibility of bringing Robbie Keane and Craig Bellamy back to Celtic Park.

Other players linked with the club recently include Arsenal's Sol Campbell, Hull's Jimmy Bullard, Stoke's Liam Lawrence and Cardiff's Joe Ledley.
