The young U.S.team that Burke has a never say die attitude that reflects their manager. Burke is working these Olympics despite losing his son a few weeks ago in a car crash.

Irish American players Ryan Callaghan and Chris Drury were magnificent in the U.S. victory. Callaghan made a late game save in which he sacrificed his body to stop a certain score. Drury scored the critical goal to put the U.S. ahead at a vital time 3-2 at the end of the second period .
