Irish u-21 international James O'Shea is on his way to the Premier League after Galway United agreed a few with Birmingham for his services.

The Blues' website confirmed that a figure has been agreed and that O’Shea, who was the top scorer for the Tribesmen last year with a haul of ten goals, is on his way to St. Andrews to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical.

O’Shea can play as a right winger/striker and will join fellow Irishman Stephen Carr at the club. The former Home Farm star has made three appearances for the Under 21 national side.
