Being the first to comment, I hope I'm the very last. I read tne Irish Central for information about Ireland. Notre Dame has absolutely nothing to do with Ireland 'cept their nickname and mascot. There are plenty of other colleges with players of Irish lineage, Catholic, Protestant and atheist. So why do you have to tout a school whose glory days have ebbed away. A school, in fact, too afraid to join a real football conference. If it's for the money you say, ah well that's a bunch of mularky. The "real football conference" also has a TV network and by all accounts it's least competitive football schools made more money at the end of the season than ole ND. At least one has to scroll to the very bottom of Irish Central to read about ND, but better yet... quit yer blather of ND!
