Weis job on line as Michigan defeats Notre Dame

Coach Charlie Weis's job looked in real jeopardy after Notre Dame fell to a last second touchdown by Michigan who defeated them 38-34 at Ann Arbor.

Michigan quarterback Tate Forcier destroyed the Irish defense in the second half and fittingly threw the winning touchdown pass with just 11 seconds left.

The defeat raises serious questions about Weis, who has the strongest squad he has had in five years and came into the game as the favorite to win.

However, Fighting Irish quarterback Jimmy Clausen was unable to move the team once again, when they had possession late in the fourth quarter a three point lead and were trying to run out the clock.

The questions about Weis will grow ever larger if they lose to Michigan State next week.
