A Dubliner is the new world heavyweight champion after a swift 18 second victory at WrestleMania 28 in Sun Stadium in Miami, Florida on Sunday night.

Stephen Farrelly, AKA Seamus is the new chap. A former bodyguard for Bono and a fluent Irish speaker, Sheamus has landed atop the WWE fighter list.

Sheamus seized an opportunity when his opponent, Daniel Bryan, was getting a kiss from his wife. Taking advantage, he kicked him the head, pounced, and the match was done in a matter of seconds.

Speaking to the Irish Voice recently, WWE wrestler Sheamus spoke about his pride in representing Ireland at the wrestling event.

“I’m representing Ireland again, I’m the champion of the United States of America and there are going to be some great matches, but I’m going to give everything I have to steal the show at Wrestlemania. I’m an Irishman who came up from a small little country, followed his dream, and now I hold the title.”

Please stick to a Sports report not acting. They may be good athletes but it is acting and entertainment. Keep wrestling along with another actor, Rory the english golfer, off these pages. Thank you very much.
attn:bodyshield, it is neither champ or chap; it is CHUMP! If you read the article (film not available)you'll notice he hit his opponent while the opponent was kissing his wife. If this makes the Irish proud, the must be desperate for a faux hero!!
Being Irish is in agin.
