I don't believe that Notre Dame is cursed, that is a load of rubbish. Notre Dame has a rather delusional fan base, that believes that each and every year "they" are destined to be playing for the national championship! LOL! Strangely enough, former head coach, Lou Holtz makes outrageous statements each and every week on ESPN college gameday. He picked Notre dame to crush Michigan, the game would not be close he stated (words to that effect)! The Irish were by far the more talented team! Yeah right Lou. After Mant'ti taou(?) and Floyd at wide receiver, the cupbaord is kinda bare. Cierre Wood, does look like a very solid rb and may give teams fits down the road though. Furthermore, your secondary is not that good, and I'm being charitable. Yur QB, are you kidding me!, why has Kelly not elected to start with and remain with Crist? Because he had a rocky 15 minutes of football against USF? Gimme a break, the season just started! Maybe Kelly was not the right fit at Notre Dame, he is to eager to "bolt" and not let a veteran QB like Crist showcase his skillset. One more thing, your special teams aren't that hot and when you have a coach like Kelly, dropping "F" bombs and acting like a maniac who needs some serious "anger management programming", what is to be expected of his kids? Coming unglued in the first half of the first game, is shocking and should not be tolerated at a stellar Cathloic University like Notre Dame. The AD has to get that behavior in check and redirect his coach accordingly. What is gonna happen when he starts getting mauled by Maryland or Air Force in upcoming games. Is he going to have a similar if not worse melt-down on public television? We know the expectations are sky-hi at ND, but please dude, it's football, not the cure for cancer and remember you have a long way to go, don't flip out so easily, it's bad form. Coach Lou may not approve of it. LOL!
It's the same thing every year if you check, more like Ground Hogs Day the movie. Nobody has any answers.
