McGinley is married to wife Alison. She formerly played golf for England and on the Ladies European Tour. They have three children and currently reside in Sunningdale, England. The next one after Ryder to get his MBE - like McIlroy who (wink wink) credited with Ryder selection - it also helped to mask his no-man's-land gandy dance. Its the Ireland that is in name only. Perhaps the reason for throwing the blowin gates open wide.
