Report says freak wind caused Notre Dame student’s death

the way ND handled this investigation was exemplary as compared to hamhanded manner of the other incident where "Fatha" Jenkins lawyered-up rather than responding to a letter from grieving parents; behavior far below the standards Notre Dame held itself to in the 1970's when I attended. Sadly, our running joke among ND alums of what CSC stands for (Come Sweet Cash) has become a reality. You would think that Our Lord's Mother sitting atop the Dome deserved better from a University named in her honor. Yes, it sad but true that our alma mater's song should be re-named Notre Dame, You Mother instead of Notre Dame, Our Mother.
