There are two Irish Catholic D-1 schools playing football. They are going in opposite directions and meet in Boston on 11-10. Congratulations to Coach Kelly and his calm demeanor of this year. I am tickled pink but wish the pink paraphenalia would go away. BC had a renaissance after being snunked by Lou Holtz 54-7 in running up the score. The next year is when the left footed Jewish kid knocked ND out of number one after they had beaten Florida St by putting one in the breadbasket of TD Jesus. Hopefully, BC will take their thumpin' in good graces and come back next year with a new coach and a new attitude and a quarterback (Chase Rettig) who will have been hardened by the flame of defeat. For now, let the Irish bow to ND and their leprechaun leader in Brian Kelly. Neverthless, it must be remembered that the real Irish division one Catholic football playing school will always be the Eagles of BC.
First #10 ranked Michigan State. Then #18 ranked Michigan. And again #17 Stanford. Add to those, Navy, Purdue, Miami & BYU and you see why the Irish are 5th. I think Notre Dame is ready for Oklahoma.
I'm a proud Oklahoman so naturally want the Sooners to trounce Notre Dame. N.D. does NOT represent most Irish-Americans and I resent their moniker "Fighting Irish" when most of the players are African-American or non-Irish. It's as demeaning as the Washington Redskin
Finally,ND plays someone of stature, they are going to get RUN!
Go Domers!!!!!!
